We had 6 guys here for a bachelor weekend and it was a great spot for us. 5 minute ubers to the bars, short drives to nice golf courses aswell as activities and space to do them at the house itself.
The house was a perfect place to stay when visiting Lansing and East Lansing. It is very clean and perfectly set up to make your stay comfortable.
Nice place to stay. The Gilson Group’s description online was very thorough. Be sure to read the section labeled Honest Notes. The home is on a busy, one way street, the driveway is very narrow, and the home has no rails for entrance from the outside. The home was cool and quiet with a very nice kitchen. My family needs a more accessible place for comfort but under normal circumstances, it is a comfortable place to stay. The best part of the house was the Gilson Group itself. They were very good communicators and responded to my concerns.
The place was beautiful. Everything was very clean and everything listed on their webpage was in the house. The space was very roomy and comfortable. We would highly recommend this place to other people. Nice yard and little back porch to sit on and relax. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious as is all the bedrooms in the house. We had fun in the game room with the ping pong table and foosball table. As well as board games. This was a great place to stay.

Our home is located in one of Lansing's most sought-after and safest neighborhoods. It's a charming and friendly community with tree-lined streets and beautiful homes. The neighborhood is very walkable, with many shops, restaurants, and attractions within a short stroll. You'll be just a few blocks away from the vibrant downtown Lansing, where you can enjoy live music, art galleries, and delicious food. And if you're in town to visit Michigan State University, it's just a 10-minute drive away. Overall, it's a wonderful area that's perfect for professionals, families, and anyone looking for a great place to stay in Lansing.
While Oakland Avenue can get busy, don't worry – getting in and out of our driveway is a manageable breeze. We can easily accommodate up to five vehicles – four in the driveway and one in the garage. And speaking of the garage, it even comes with Level 2 EV Charger (?/per Day Use), so you can charge your electric vehicle hassle-free during your stay.
